TOM - I tried to keep these as honest as possible, reflecting on each of the seasons and drawing what came to mind. I also enjoyed working in the 'strip' type of format. I hope to experiment telling more stories this way.
they're great! the pallettes of especially the first two are perfect. the "winter" one is my favorite. we've all been in that position, and that last panel of looking down into the darkness and hoping those far away lights turn into your ride....i feel like i spent half my life doing just that. it also reminds me of how much i hate winter. so are you doing anything with these?
Thanks Everybody! James, I submitted these to the L magazine for their comix issue, but it didn't get in... I might make more stories in this format and maybe make a little mini comic out it.
I love the break down of the panels and sense of space in these. p.s. I saw the comics issue of L magazine and I'm completely baffled. I'm not sure what they were going for but I think they missed out big time not including yours.

haha, i was gonna comment "i see a stephanie" but i was beaten to the punch... that's what i get for not checking up on Teh Bloggz every day...
also, want to say that i think you really nailed the color palette for each season.
